Description: This is another "Studio-Series" Tweed Deluxe build that immediately exhibited wonderful tones at any gain level with any guitar. Although sounding great right away, over time this amp's response will even continue to improve as components break-in. Great with both single coils and Humbuckers; this Deluxe delivers a big, complex tonal palette ranging from the liquid-clean, neo-Vaughn/Hendrix vintage Strat stylings of John Mayer; to the Jazz-comping, R&B, and singing leads of Larry Carlton and his '68 335 during his landmark Steely Dan (and Donald Fagen) era. |
