Description: 5E3 circuit with modifications duplicating my #1 studio amplifier. Wonderful glassy clean, early crunch and smooth, thick overdrive tones. Strong mids, fat bottom and sweet top end. Tight and quiet. Great with single coils and humbuckers. This amp does it all. Will get even better with additional playing time and break-in.

Video Demos:
Amp setup: NOS JAN 5Y3, NOS Tung-Sol 6V6GT, NOS RCA 12AX7 and 12AY7 tubes, 1960 Jensen P12Q speaker; guitars: 1998 Fender '57 Strat Reissue, 1960 Gibson Les Paul Jr. No effects: guitar is plugged straight into the amp. Camera: Canon SD1000 (compact video setting).
Amp setup: Same as above with Celestion Blue speaker. Guitar: 1968 Gibson ES-335. No effects: guitar is plugged straight into the amp. Bright channel high gain input, volume is wide open (but backed off just a bit to reduce sag). Sorry, camera audio is not very good. Camera: Kodak Zi6 (HD mode, converted).
